Hello everyone, I'm Manuel Alcantara-Turner, I'm 22 and I'm England's representative for Mr World 2024 in Vietnam. I'm currently serving in the British Army as a King's Guard, I have done so since I was 16. It's my passion, it's my dream job, I love it. I've done monumental events such as Queen Elizabeth II's funeral, King Charles III's coronation. I've also deployed twice to Kenya, which is amazing, seeing the savannah, seeing all the wildlife, it was a dream come true really. I've also trained Ukrainian soldiers here in British soil on Operation Interflex. I'm also bilingual, I was born and raised in Spain to an English mother and a Spanish father. I try to make the trip over there to Marbella, where I'm from, to see my Spanish side of the family, such as my dad, his parents. Hopefully I'll be there soon because I love it there. But I am proud to be English, I am proud to represent England. I also have great hobbies such as football. I love to travel, love to see each corner of the world, the different cultures. On my downtime, when I'm not working, I like to go and see my family when I can up in Newcastle. That's normally around three times a year, but they understand why and I'm more than happy to do that. I also have seven dogs, which I love very much, and three cats, which animals, I just love them. In terms of ambition, it's serving my country. Always happy with my ambition and always will be. I love serving my country, I love representing my country. I would do pretty much anything for this country. I'm very patriotic, very proud. I'm very looking forward to seeing everyone there in Vietnam and I'll see you soon. Goodbye.
