Bonjour tout le monde, hello world! My name is Maxime Klinger, I am 25 years old and I'm your new Mr. World France 2024. Five years after proudly wearing my first Mr. Sash in France, I'm excited to announce that I'll be representing our beautiful country at the biggest international competition, Mr. World, this November in Vietnam. It's with great emotion that I speak these words because nothing in my past suggested I would be here today. When I was younger, I was training to become a top level gymnast, but life had other plans for me. A gross disease put me in a wheelchair and I lost the use of my legs. I had to fight hard to learn how to walk again, and during this battle, I also faced another challenge, obesity. I was critiqued, judged and pointed at, but one day, a movie gave me hope. I lost more than 35 kilos weight and I completely changed my life. Today, I stand before you with confidence, running my own marketing company and most importantly, with a deep love for life. Now, I have one clear goal, to show the world that no matter what life throws at us, we can achieve our goals and make our dreams come true. When I was young, I would have loved to see someone like me proving that anything is possible. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. Today, every day, I fight to bring hope to others. That's why I named my project, Beyond the Limits, the World Tower of Hope. Today, I want to be that beacon of hope. I want to become the next Mr. World. I love my country friends. I love life. I truly love people. And above all, not a single day goes by without me smiling. I'm your Mr. World friend and believe me, I fully intend to bring the Mr. World sash at home.
