Every great dream begins with a dreamer. My name is Sai Dong Law from a small town called Sibor, Mr. World Myanmar 2024. Being born in a small village, getting bullied at a very young age because of my sexual orientation and gender identity, coming from a broken family, having a sister, battling with mental health, being body-shamed and cyber-bullied when I joined the entertainment industry. I was told so many times in life that I don't deserve to go after my dreams, that I'm not good enough. But I didn't let them distract my way of achieving my dreams in life. In 2019, I founded a power education campaign to provide free education in my community. Through this, I've been teaching to over a thousand of students. I become the breadwinner of my family and the first English teacher from my small village. I was a pageant fanatic since 2009. Ten years ago, I competed in my first pageant when I was 16. Because of my love for pageantry, I was able to organize the first ever pageant in my town earlier this year. Now being able to represent Myanmar on a global stage is a dream to come true moment for me. To all the dreamers, I hope my story can be a testament of resilience, hope and possibilities. Dream big and remember, if the world doesn't need you, you won't be here today.
