Amazing things can happen when people get together to help our youth. My name is Josue Molina, Mr. El Salvador, and since 2019, I have been volunteering at Sus Hijos, His Children. Sus Hijos, His Children is a non-for-profit organization that was created to help the adolescents, children, and youth in private and public orphanages. We implement projects to reunite families and show them love, grace, and give them spiritual guidance. We provide humanitarian aid to communities, families, and the Salvadoran people in general through projects and activities. Last month, for example, we helped rebuild a house that was taken down by the strong storms that occurred here in El Salvador. We helped them take down the old house and build a new house from scratch. But our work doesn't stop here. We have multiple activities going on all year round. For example, when we get donations, we go downtown once a week and feed the homeless during the night. We also go to communities and give them humanitarian packages that cover their basic needs. But also, we do activities in those communities so that they can grow stronger. We visit daily orphanages and teach them good values and give them spiritual guidance. We noticed something that the kids that ended up in these orphanages was because they didn't have the right living conditions in their homes, so they were taken away and put in orphanages. So we created this program that built houses so that families have the right conditions to have their children with them and they don't get separated. And if they are already separated, sometimes we can reunite them when they have the right conditions. Other thing that we noticed in the orphanages is that when kids turn 18, they didn't know what to do when they get out of the orphanages. So we created this two-year program where the kids come with us and we give them a place to stay, the right conditions to live. We give them financial guidance and spiritual guidance. And we also help them finish their high school if they didn't finish it inside these orphanages. And if they did, we help them to pursue a college degree. We also help them find a job and teach them moral values so that they can have a good lifestyle while they are with us and they can continue that lifestyle while they are no longer with us. How can you get involved? Well, you can go ahead and go to our webpage, www.susijos.com, and you can see all options. You can volunteer with us. You can pray for us. And you can also help us financially. Thank you.
