Day 9 - Novaworld, Phan Thiet Tour

After the 2nd round of Head-to-Head yesterday, we headed to Phan Thiet City, the venue for the Grand Final of Mister World 2024. Our first impression? Surreal. This place feels like a Disneyland, if I may say so—haha! The views, the vibes, everything here is beyond what I expected. I never knew Vietnam had a place like this. Day 7 - Charitable Activities & Head to Head round 1

I’ll never forget this day—Day 7 of quarantine at Mister World 2024. The Head-to-Head challenge has truly pushed me to grow. To be honest, the first round didn’t go as well as I’d hoped. I was really nervous, and speaking English (not my mother tongue) at the podium brought a whole new level of pressure. It was my first time in that setting, and I felt the weight of it. But only by His grace, I found strength that night. Right before my speech, I kept praying, “God, whatever happens, let it be Your will.” Trusting in His power allowed me to take a step back from my worries. Later, I faced something big—what I’d call an “intimidation spirit.” I hadn’t seen any negative comments online, but people kept telling me, “Nael, don’t let the hate get to you.” Their words planted doubt in my mind, and soon I was overthinking. I had to leave the ballroom, take a moment of silence, and find peace in prayer in my room. That’s when a miracle happened—a moment I’ll always cherish. This wasn’t about I made it to the next phase, but rather experiencing God’s presence in a deeply personal way. His grace, His guidance—they’re with me, with us, especially in moments of doubt and intimidation. So, whenever you face something too big to handle on your own, I hope you’ll pray and hand it over to Him. There are challenges we can’t conquer alone, but through Him, we can find a strength far greater than our own. Thank you for reading this sharing session. Day 6 — Mr. Talent

There have been moments in my life that were tough—times of “troubled waters”—that taught me an important lesson: I cannot face life’s challenges by relying solely on my own strength. It’s truly beautiful—the power of His Grace, which made me capable to realize that there’s a greater power, from a source far bigger than myself, willing to lay down everything for me, for us, to be a bridge when we face troubled waters in our lives. I am beyond proud to wear this masterpiece in the International stage, representing Indonesia, the kand of cultures. here’s the description about the outfit: The Kampuhan Kakung court attire. Under the reign of King Pakubuwono X of the Kingdom of Surakarta, this was worn for court ceremonies and white-tie events by the King of Surakarta, Putradalem and Wayahdalem (Royal Princes), Sentonodalem (Princes of the Blood) and Abdi Dalem (courtiers), with differences and variants in the golden embroidery, fabric of the suit, type and colour of the kuluk (headwear), and length alongside motif of the Batik dodot fabric, stratifying each individual in accordance to one’s title and paringan ganjaran. This attire has represented the Kingdom of Surakarta’s international prestige on the world stage since the late 1800s—in 1901 it was worn by King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) of Thailand, during a three-day visit at Karaton Kasunanan Surakarta Hadiningrat. Day 3 - Press Conference & Welcome Celebration

Today was truly incredible—my first time being officially called Indonesia’s representative (on the stage). I’m deeply proud and honored. Through this opportunity, I hope that my brothers from around the world and I can inspire a positive impact and create meaningful change, especially among the youth. But at the same time, it’s also been a period of growth—navigating the challenges, the pressure, the preparation, and everything else that comes with it. Through this experience, I’ve learned the importance of leaning on someone greater than myself, someone with strength far beyond my own. It’s in that reliance that I find the strength to keep moving forward. It’s not about giving up; it’s about recognizing and admitting that, as humans, we have our limits. I can’t do everything on my own. The ‘Greater Good’ is Real (things to learn from the Mister World 🇮🇩journey)

My Mister World journey has already begun from days, months ago before the quarantine started. And I learned a lot from all of it. The preparation, was really challenging—but I really grateful to experience it, here’s some lessons that I learned, and I would love to share it—that hopefully it can strengthen every soul who watched it. I’ll start with “The Greater Good is Real” Well, I almost lost my vision in my right eye since the day I was born, yet now I’m preparing to represent my country in the upcoming Mister World 2024 Nope, this is not that transformation, motivational kinda content, because i am sure that–this is beyond my capabilities as a human. I just want to remind you that God has a plan, for you. Plans to proser you, and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope, and a future. #MrWorld #MrWorld2024 #MrWorldIndonesia #Hope Hey, it's me, the man with amblyopia speaking.
