Day 7 - Charitable Activities & Head to Head round 1

I’ll never forget this day—Day 7 of quarantine at Mister World 2024. The Head-to-Head challenge has truly pushed me to grow. To be honest, the first round didn’t go as well as I’d hoped. I was really nervous, and speaking English (not my mother tongue) at the podium brought a whole new level of pressure. It was my first time in that setting, and I felt the weight of it. But only by His grace, I found strength that night. Right before my speech, I kept praying, “God, whatever happens, let it be Your will.” Trusting in His power allowed me to take a step back from my worries. Later, I faced something big—what I’d call an “intimidation spirit.” I hadn’t seen any negative comments online, but people kept telling me, “Nael, don’t let the hate get to you.” Their words planted doubt in my mind, and soon I was overthinking. I had to leave the ballroom, take a moment of silence, and find peace in prayer in my room. That’s when a miracle happened—a moment I’ll always cherish. This wasn’t about I made it to the next phase, but rather experiencing God’s presence in a deeply personal way. His grace, His guidance—they’re with me, with us, especially in moments of doubt and intimidation. So, whenever you face something too big to handle on your own, I hope you’ll pray and hand it over to Him. There are challenges we can’t conquer alone, but through Him, we can find a strength far greater than our own. Thank you for reading this sharing session.
